Phew

Works like a charm every time. The Red Sox win last night, the dang Yanks lose, the lead's back to six games, and we're headed to Baltimore, which is almost like a home game, so many people from New England drive down to Camden Yards.

By the way, I found it appropriate that when Barry Bonds hit No. 756, his team lost. Seems to happen an awful lot for that guy.

Phillies won again last night as well, and the Braves blew every opportunity they had to beat the Mets, losing 4-3 in the end.

I propose a united front of Jeff and Michael vs. the entire state of NY in professional baseball!

I have to add that since I posted that comment this morning, I went to work and met my new boss. Cyndi, wanna guess what part of the country He's from? (give ya a hint, it's named after the place the colonists in America came from, and kinda makes him a Sox fan).

BTW, I would probably enjoy a Red Sox/Phillies world series, though I expect the Phillies would lose.

The Phillies are going to be in one heck of a barnburner playoff race. What are there, like, eight teams within five games of the wild card? And they still have to battle Atlanta and the dang Mets in the NL East.

Yeppers Jeff. and today the Braves took number 2 of 3 from the Mets and tomorrow the Braves are in Philadelphia which means TBS and Turner South are gonna be my favorite channels this weekend. Currently the Phils are working to finish a game against Florida tied at 2 in the top of the ninth.

My brother is a Cardinals fan Jeff, but today he was looking for something for at our parents house (they are currently here in OK for Logan's 2nd birthday tomorrow) and he happened across a Barry Bonds rookie baseball card in a protective case from years ago that he didn't know he had. He put it on Ebay for $1000 and already has bids. He now loves Barry Bonds:)
