12 to 11 on Idol

And so goes what's-his-name, Brandon. We won't remember him until the final week when he shows up in a group sing and we'll think, "Oh yeah, there's that guy, what's-his-name."

I liked Brandon's voice so much but he just didn't seem comfortable on stage. Which is strange since he has a lot of experience onstage as a backup singer. He must watch the lead singer up there right? Blake is definitely my favorite guy. Curly haired Chris lost me completely! Doesn't he know they are looking for a way to market the winner. How do they market this guy? He already looks different but to choose cheesy songs too? Not good.

Lakisha is still my favorite :)

Did you see the story on the Today show about AI? They said there is a website and Howard Stern both urging people to vote for Sanjay because he is the worst. They think it would be funny to see a bad singer win. I think it is said because this poor kid probably thinks he is good, yet he wouldn't sell any records. I think the producers should learn from this and hopeully do a better job of eliminations when it is in their control.

Amy mentioned she thought there was a website, perhaps votefortheworst.com that people could be influencing things. They need an executive decision flush button for Sanjaya.

We are one week closer to Melinda's coronation.

Thanks for that link Michael. That web site is hilarious!

OK, one more thing...

RE: voting for the worst candidate

Isn't that how Justin Guarini almost won the first season? Seriously, William Hung sold more records.

Yeah, I never watched the show before season 4, but I have taken to calling Sanjaya, Justin. BTW Justin was mentioned in the news today for his new gig, hosting the Idol Talk program on the TV Guide channel, guess Kimberley Locke found a better job.
